The highly anticipated Strange Planet animated series, adapted from Nathan Pyle's beloved webcomic depicting the daily lives of otherworldly "beings," now has an official premiere date on Apple TV+.

Apple TV+ has recently unveiled the premiere date for Strange Planet, the eagerly awaited series inspired by the bestselling comic collection bearing the same name.

The creator of this adult animated series, Nathan W. Pyle, took to Twitter to announce that Strange Planet is set to debut on August 9, exclusively on Apple TV+. Viewers can look forward to a 10-episode season, with each episode airing every Wednesday. Alongside Pyle, who assumes the role of an executive producer, Strange Planet is co-created and executive produced by Dan Harmon, renowned as the co-creator of Rick and Morty and the creator of Community. Apple Studios provides the following synopsis for the series: "Drawing inspiration from the New York Times No. 1 bestselling graphic novel and the social media sensation it became, 'Strange Planet' delivers a witty and astute exploration of a far-off realm that mirrors our own in surprising ways. Immerse yourself in a fantastical world painted with shades of cotton candy pink and purple as relatable blue beings navigate the humorous absurdities of our everyday human customs."
