Foundation Season 2 Clip Sees Naked Lee Pace Fight Off Assassins

A thrilling new preview from the highly anticipated second season of Foundation showcases a gripping encounter involving Lee Pace's Brother Day.

AppleTV+ has unveiled a two-minute sneak peek of Foundation Season 2, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what lies ahead.

In the clip, Brother Day, the enigmatic clone leader of the Galactic Empire portrayed by Lee Pace, finds himself entangled in a life-or-death situation. While engaged in an intimate encounter with his robotic aide, Eto (Laura Birn), Brother Day is abruptly interrupted by an attempted assassination. Despite his vulnerable state of undress, Brother Day valiantly confronts and dispatches one assailant. However, he is eventually overpowered by a second attacker. Just as it appears that Brother Day's demise is imminent, Eto intervenes, coming to his rescue.

In Foundation Season 2, tensions escalate throughout the galaxy over a century after the events of the Season 1 finale. The powerful Cleons find themselves unraveling as a vengeful queen devises a cunning plan to undermine and ultimately dismantle the Empire from within. Meanwhile, Hari, Gaal, and Salvor stumble upon a colony of Mentalics, individuals with psychic abilities that can disrupt the very foundations of psychohistory.

Amidst this turmoil, the Foundation takes on a religious aspect, spreading the teachings of the Church of Seldon across the Outer Reach. This sparks the onset of the Second Crisis: a war with the Empire. Adapted for AppleTV+ by David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman, Foundation is based on the beloved series of stories by the esteemed Sir Isaac Asimov.
