PowerWash Simulator Releases Updated 2023 Roadmap

In April, FuturLab and Square Enix shared a roadmap for PowerWash Simulator, providing a glimpse of what players could expect in the remaining months of 2023. However, since then, significant developments have occurred, leading to updates on the roadmap. Notably, the game received a paid update in June featuring the beloved character SpongeBob SquarePants, and an exciting collaboration with the Warhammer 40,000 universe was announced. As Q2 comes to a close, an updated roadmap has been released, detailing the already released content and confirming that the Warhammer collaboration will arrive in Q4.

The revised roadmap for PowerWash Simulator is as follows:

This updated roadmap aims to keep players informed about the ongoing development and upcoming content for PowerWash Simulator. As the game continues to evolve, fans can anticipate a blend of familiar themes and exciting collaborations in the months ahead.

As indicated by the roadmap, the upcoming Warhammer 40,000 collaboration in Q4 suggests that there is still paid DLC to be unveiled for the current quarter. FuturLab has previously confirmed that paid content will involve crossovers, while free content will expand on the "Muckingham universe" established in the base game. The next collaboration is eagerly anticipated, and with a Q3 release, fans can expect it to launch before the end of September. In addition, FuturLab has announced that gyro controls will be introduced to the Nintendo Switch version in the next free update, and VR support is planned for later this year.

PowerWash Simulator's collaborations have been captivating, allowing players to clean various locations and vehicles from franchises such as Final Fantasy VII, Tomb Raider, and SpongeBob SquarePants. The wide range of options demonstrates the developers' creativity, making it difficult to predict future collaborations. These crossovers have the potential to attract new players to the game, and it's clear that FuturLab and Square Enix have embraced this concept. Fans will have to remain patient to discover what exciting crossover will be revealed next!
