Street Fighter 6 Discovery Reveals Cammy Is Even Better Than We Thought

Recent data from Street Fighter 6 has revealed that Cammy is the third most-used character, which can be attributed to her popularity in the series as well as her effectiveness in the current meta. Furthermore, it appears that even more players are gravitating towards Cammy since the data was released.

However, a recently discovered detail about Cammy has brought to light that she may be even better than initially thought, although the difference is minor. This detail has been shared on the Street Fighter Reddit page along with a video showcasing an impressive reset. Even if players are already aware of this detail, the video is still worth watching due to the impressive reset it demonstrates.

The detail in question revolves around Cammy's level two super, which includes a small kick at the end that inflicts a similarly small amount of damage. Unless players are actively paying attention or reviewing a video featuring a remarkable reset, they may easily overlook this detail.

Today I learned that the kick at the end of Cammy's level two super does a tiny bit of damage...

"One can witness Cammy's ascent up the tier list in real-time through every recent clip featuring her. Initially appearing to have low damage output, it becomes evident how effectively she exploits the system mechanics to dominate her opponents," reads one comment.

Street Fighter 6 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X platforms.

"Everything feels carefully considered for those jumping into Street Fighter 6 as their first game in the series. But at the same time, there's clearly a ton to dig into for those who want to keep playing on deeper and more dedicated levels. Street Fighter 6 is just pure fun, and every punch hits hard, every kick feels great, and it's just so cool to look at. It's the most fun I've had with Street Fighter in years, and the great, hard hitting start to a powerful new era for the franchise."
