The Boys: Homelander, Black Noir, and Starlight Join Call of Duty

In an exciting crossover, three iconic characters from The Boys will be joining the world of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 Reloaded and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 as character skins in personalized bundles.

The official Twitter account of The Boys released a trailer showcasing the inclusion of Starlight, Homelander, and Black Noir in the upcoming Call of Duty update. This collaboration between the popular shooter franchise and the breakout Prime Video series marks another instance of Call of Duty incorporating characters from beloved pop culture properties.

Call of Duty has previously introduced operator bundles, available in the in-game store for around $20 (2,400 COD points), featuring characters from various media. Players have had the opportunity to dress up as Ghostface from Scream, embody Godzilla, or assume the role of the Armored Titan from Attack on Titan. Now, gamers will have the chance to play as Starlight, Homelander, and Black Noir.

The trailer, designed as a Vought International press conference, features Black Noir responding to reporters' inquiries about the collaboration. Noir confirms his participation in the COD update, along with the other two Supes. The trailer also alludes to the tension between Starlight and Homelander at the end of Season 4, and confirms that Black Noir's blades have "made the cut" for the game. Adding humor, the trailer includes a reporter asking Black Noir about his "KD" (kill-death ratio).

Each operator bundle in Call of Duty will include three unique blueprints for the respective character. Starlight's bundle will feature the "Des Moines Defender" Assault Rifle blueprint, Homelander's will include the Pro-Tuned "Superiority Complex" SMG, and Black Noir's bundle will offer "Black Noir's Blades" as a melee weapon. Additionally, each character's operator pack will contain two additional blueprints and a finishing move that aligns with their powers.

The Boys Throws Supes Into the World of Call of Duty

The Boys is a dark and gritty series that explores the darker side of superheroes in a realistic world. The show centers around Hughie Campbell, portrayed by Jack Quaid (who also lends his voice to another iconic hero, Superman, in a new animated series), as he uncovers the true nature of Supes. In this world, Vought International is the all-powerful corporation that manages and controls Supes worldwide, while their super-team, known as The Seven, is hailed as a symbol of hope for humanity. However, behind the scenes, Vought is corrupt to the core, and The Seven is led by the megalomaniac Homelander. Joining forces with Billy the Butcher, Mother's Milk, and Frenchie, Hughie becomes part of The Boys, determined to expose Vought's true nature and bring down the corrupt Supes.

Fans can look forward to the arrival of these three Supes in Call of Duty on July 12th. In the meantime, all seasons of The Boys are available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
