New Trailer and Teaser Unveiled for Upcoming Undead Mayhem

The "Vampire Arc" of the Undead Murder Farce anime adaptation has come to a thrilling conclusion. Fans are now eagerly anticipating the "Diamond Scramble Arc" (Daiya Soudatsu-hen), which has been unveiled through an exciting trailer and visual.

In this upcoming arc, the anime's main trio will embark on a captivating journey, encountering legendary figures such as Sherlock Holmes, Watson, Arsene Lupin, and a host of other intriguing characters. The stage is set for an enthralling mix of mystery, humor, and action in this latest installment of the series.

Undead Murder Farce (also known as Undead Girl Murder Farce in certain regions) made its highly anticipated premiere on July 5. The anime is an adaptation of the novel series written by Yuugo Aosaki, featuring captivating cover illustrations by Oh!Great and published by Kodansha. This supernatural mystery anime can be enjoyed by international audiences through streaming platforms like Crunchyroll, Ani-One Asia, and Bilibili, making it accessible to fans worldwide.

Kodansha USA describe the anime as follows: "The end of the 19th century—a vampire’s wife is murdered, and the detective known as the “cage user” is called in to solve the crime. But there’s more to the detective and the curtained birdcage he carries…after all, when solving a case involving a monster, it might just take one to know one!"

The show, based on a novel series that began in 2015 and published under the Kodansha Taiga label, boasts an impressive staff lineup. Mamoru Hatakeyama, known for his work on "Kaguya-sama: Love is War," directs the series, while Noboru Takagi, the series composer of "In/Spectre," is on board as well. Noriko Itou, who previously worked as a character designer on "Kakegurui xx," holds the position of character designer and chief animation director.

Joining the staff are Naho Kozono, known for their work on "Shine On! Bakumatsu Bad Boys," as the sub-character designer and chief animation director, along with Yuma Yamaguchi, who takes on the role of the music composer. The animation production company, Lapin Track, ensures a promising production.

The stellar cast assembled to bring the characters to life in the show is truly remarkable. Tomoyo Kurosawa takes on the role of Aya Rindou, while Taku Yashiro portrays Tsugaru Shinuchi, and Makoto Koichi brings Shizuku Hasei to the screen. The esteemed actor Shinichirou Miki lends his voice to the iconic detective Sherlock Holmes, and alongside him is Masaki Aizawa, who portrays the ever-faithful John H. Watson.

The talented Mamoru Miyano breathes life into the enigmatic and charming Arsene Lupin, while Hiro Shimono captivates the audience as Phantom. Lastly, Wataru Yokojima takes on the role of the cunning and formidable James Moriarty. With such an outstanding cast, viewers can anticipate a captivating and unforgettable performance from each character in this intriguing series.
