Sokushi Cheat Anime: Main Cast, Staff, Winter 2024 Premiere!

The TV anime adaptation of Tsuyoshi Fujitaka's light novel "Sokushi Cheat ga Saikyou sugite, Isekai no Yatsura ga Marude Aite ni Naranai n desu ga." (My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!) has officially launched its website. Exciting updates include the announcement of the main cast and staff, a thrilling teaser promo, and a captivating teaser visual (pictured). Mark your calendars as the anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2024 on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11.

The upcoming anime project boasts a stellar team of talented creators. Leading the helm as Director is Masakazu Hishida, known for their work on Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi - Ni no Shou. Ensuring a captivating storyline is Jou Aoba, who takes charge of Series Composition and Script, having previously contributed to Fairy Ranmaru: Anata no Kokoro Otasuke Shimasu.

Bringing the characters to life is the skilled Sayuri Sakimoto, serving as the Character Design with a notable background as the chief animation director for Orient. Setting the perfect tone for the series, the musical composition is a joint effort by Hanae Nakamura (from Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta...), Tatsuhiko Saiki (of Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu), Kanade Sakuma (from Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita), and Daisuke Kadowaki.

Furthermore, The anime is brought to life by Studio Okuruto Noboru.

The cast for the highly-anticipated anime is brimming with talented voice actors, ensuring an unforgettable performance. Taking on the role of Yogiri Takatou is Kouki Uchiyama, known for his exceptional portrayal of characters in Hunter x Hunter (2011). Miyu Tomita lends her voice to Tomochika Dannoura, bringing her remarkable talent showcased in Made in Abyss to the forefront. Playing Mokomoko Dannoura is the skilled Tomoko Kaneda, whose diverse roles, including in Bleach, have earned her well-deserved acclaim.

Lastly, Sion is brought to life by the immensely talented Yui Horie, whose extensive experience includes notable roles in Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!

The captivating fantasy adventure novel by Fujitaka began its journey on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2016. Earth Star Entertainment recognized its potential and acquired the novel, leading to the publication of the first volume under their Earth Star Novel imprint in October 2016. Illustrated by Chisato Naruse, the series continued to thrive, reaching its epic conclusion with the 14th and final volume shipped on March 15.

In March 2018, Hanamaru Nanto took up the challenge of adapting the novel into a manga, which was serialized in Comic Earth☆Star. The manga garnered immense popularity, and by December 2022, the eighth volume had been released, with the ninth volume set for release on August 10. With over 1.3 million cumulative copies of its volumes in circulation, it's clear that this enchanting series has captured the hearts of many.

J-Novel Club recognized the allure of this tale and licensed both the light novel and manga digitally in July 2020 and 2021, respectively. Fans have been eagerly following the journey, with the 13th light novel volume releasing on February 20 and the seventh manga volume releasing on February 24.
