Gen V: Is Victoria Neuman a Bad Character?

A character from "The Boys" shows up in the new episode of "Gen V," and it seems like they might be up to no good.

Gen V: Is Victoria Neuman a Bad Character?

Victoria Neuman, played by Claudia Doumit, has become a significant character in The Boys Universe. She recently made a comeback in the latest episode of Prime Video's Gen V spin-off. Over time, her character has had moments where she seemed both good and bad. This has left fans wondering whether she is now clearly a villain after her latest appearance.

[Warning: We're about to talk about what happened in The Boys: Gen V Episode 7, so be prepared for spoilers!]

In The Boys, Neuman is known as a politician who is against supes (superpowered individuals) and is running for vice president with an anti-supe platform. The twist, though, is that she is a supe herself. What makes things even more complicated is that she sometimes uses her superpowers to harm people who oppose her.

For example, in one episode, Neuman uses her powers to kill Dr. Cardosa to prevent him from recreating a virus that can harm supes. This makes many viewers see her as an antagonist or even a bigger villain than Homelander, another powerful character in the show. However, we're not sure about Neuman's true intentions yet. As we've learned from characters like Butcher, Hughie, and their group, some "heroes" have to take extreme measures to deal with the bad ones.

Gen V is a brand-new live-action show inspired by The Boys, the popular series on Prime Video, which is based on the Dynamite Comics series. It takes place at Godolkin University, a school originally created as a fun poke at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters from Marvel's X-Men comics. The show is like a college version of "Hunger Games," with young superheroes competing to join Vought's super teams, including The Seven.

The show is overseen by the folks who used to run Marvel's Agent Carter, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters. They're in charge of the new series, and it's also backed by Eric Kripke, the showrunner of The Boys, as well as Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, and Lizze Broadway are the main stars of Gen V, and you can expect to see some familiar faces from The Boys, like Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Colby Minifie as Vought's Ashley Barrett, and P.J. Byrne as director Adam Bourke making appearances in the series too.

You can watch the first seven episodes of The Boys: Gen V on Prime Video right now. The Season One finale of Gen V will be available on November 2nd.
