A new sneak peek trailer has come out for the upcoming Doctor Elise TV anime series, showcasing the main character, Elise. The anime is set to debut in January 2024.

The show's opening song, "believer," is sung by Yui Ishikawa, who voices Elise in the series. The ending song, "Listen," is performed by Maju Arai, a former member of Little Glee Monster.


Kumiko Habara is the one calling the shots for the anime series, while Deko Akao is the one coming up with the story. Yuuko Watanabe is the person in charge of drawing the characters. MAHO FILM is the one making the animation.

As for the main voices, we've got Yui Ishikawa playing Elise de Clarence, Youhei Azakami as Linden de Romanoff, and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Graham de Fallon.

An anime is made from a South Korean web novel series written by Yuin, which was published on Kakaopage from December 30, 2015, to April 27, 2016. A manhwa webtoon version by Mini was also published on the same website from September 18, 2017, to February 16, 2021. In total, ten volumes were released by the publisher Pinetoon.

In Japan, the webtoon is available on Piccoma and is published as physical books by Kadokawa Shoten's Flos Comic label. It's also officially released by Tappytoon.

Lezhin Comics currently releases the webtoon in English digitally and describes the series as:

"Jihyun is a master surgeon at the peak of her medical prowess. She’s made it her life’s mission to save lives in order to atone for the sins of her past life, but her dreams are cut short when her plane crashes in the middle of the Pacific. When Jihyun wakes up, she finds herself back in her first life as Elise de Clarence – the haughty nightmare of a girl who brought on her own tragic end. The new Elise, however, still has time to set things straight – with her newfound medical knowledge, the reformed Elise sets out to right the wrongs of her tragic first life!"
